Two people lost their lives, and seven others sustained injuries in a tragic armed attack in Jhal Magsi district on Sunday. According to Levies officials, the incident occurred in the Kot Magsi area when unidentified attackers on motorcycles opened fire with automatic weapons at a tractor-trolley carrying residents of Jhal Mangi.
Following the attack, Levies officials quickly responded, transferring the bodies and injured to the district hospital. The condition of three victims is critical, with arrangements being made to shift them to Quetta for advanced medical care.
The bodies were later handed over to the victims’ families after completing medico-legal formalities. Authorities suspect the attack may have stemmed from an old enmity. However, investigations are ongoing, and the perpetrators remain at large.
