Iran–US Ceasefire: How Pakistan Made the Impossible Possible – Inside Story Revealed

Pakistan plays key role in Iran US ceasefire through secret diplomatic mission in Islamabad

Pakistan’s leadership facilitated critical talks between Iran and the United States, helping secure a ceasefire and prevent a major conflict

Pakistan has once again demonstrated its strategic importance on the global stage by playing a decisive role in securing a ceasefire between Iran and the United States, preventing what could have escalated into a major global conflict.

According to government sources, the Iran–US ceasefire was not a coincidence but the result of a carefully executed, high-level diplomatic mission led by Pakistan’s civil and military leadership.

A High-Stakes Diplomatic Mission

Officials revealed that the last 24 hours before the ceasefire were among the most critical in Pakistan’s history. As the deadline for a possible war approached, Pakistan acted as a bridge between Tehran and Washington, engaging in intense diplomatic efforts.

The mission was conducted with strict secrecy due to its sensitive nature.

Three Phases That Changed the Course of Events

The diplomatic operation was carried out in three key phases:

Phase One:
Early engagement began Tuesday morning and continued until 10 AM. Pakistan established initial contacts with the United States, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and other Gulf countries.

Phase Two:
From 6 PM to 9:30 PM, Pakistan expanded diplomatic outreach, engaging China and Russia. Both countries were contacted multiple times to ensure alignment and support.

Phase Three (Decisive Stage):
The final phase began at 11:45 PM and continued until 4 AM. During these crucial hours, consensus was reached on the key terms of the ceasefire.

Top Leadership Directly Involved

Sources confirmed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Chief of Defence Forces Syed Asim Munir were directly involved in the diplomatic engagements.

Behind the scenes, officials from the Foreign Office and national security institutions also played a critical role in ensuring the mission’s success.

Pakistan Prevents a Major Global Crisis

Officials emphasized that the ceasefire was not accidental but the result of a deliberate and highly sensitive diplomatic effort.

Pakistan’s coordinated civil-military strategy ultimately succeeded in bringing both sides to the table, helping the world avoid a potentially devastating war.
