Law enforcement agencies in Quetta have successfully carried out an intelligence-based operation against the terrorists and facilitators of the banned militant group, Fintat-ul-Hindustan. According to security sources, three terrorists, including a lecturer from a private university, were arrested during the operation.

The arrested terrorists are allegedly involved in multiple terrorist attacks, including the 2024 suicide bombing at the Quetta railway station.

The banned group, Fintat-ul-Hindustan, had reportedly planned a series of terrorist activities across the province starting from early August. However, the security forces managed to thwart the plan and successfully apprehended a suicide bomber on August 11.

The arrested suicide bomber disclosed during interrogation that he had been trained for the attack by Dr. Usman Qazi, a lecturer at a private university. Further revelations from the bomber indicated that Dr. Qazi had also trained other suicide bombers.

Dr. Usman Qazi, who was associated with a private university in Quetta, is believed to be the mastermind behind several terrorist activities orchestrated by Fintat-ul-Hindustan. He admitted during questioning that he had facilitated the suicide bombing at Quetta railway station on November 9, 2024.

Moreover, Dr. Qazi confessed to having personally trained 34 suicide bombers, who carried out attacks against security forces. Authorities are now focusing on further investigations to uncover the full extent of Dr. Qazi’s involvement in terrorist activities and his links to other extremist networks.
