One killed,four injured in Quetta car blast

A bomb explosion in Quetta late Sunday evening resulted in one fatality and left four others injured. The incident occurred in a vehicle at a bus terminal on Brewery Road, located along the western bypass.

Authorities confirmed that a magnetic bomb, attached to one of the car’s doors, detonated as the vehicle reached its final stop. “The driver was killed instantly, while another passenger sustained serious injuries. Three passers-by were also injured in the blast,” stated senior police officer Mehmood Kharoti.

The injured individuals were transported to Bolan Medical College (BMC) Hospital in Quetta. A hospital spokesperson reported, “One body and four injured have been received. Among them, a man named Nabeel is in critical condition.” The deceased was identified as Hussan Ali Muhammad Hasni.

Law enforcement officials described the explosion as a targeted attack initiated via remote detonation. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the incident.
