Pakistan’s security forces have eliminated 31 India-sponsored foreign terrorists in two separate intelligence-based operations conducted in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa districts of Bannu and Lakki Marwat, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The ISPR confirmed that the operations were carried out on September 13 and 14. In Lakki Marwat, forces launched a targeted operation following reports of terrorist presence. A fierce exchange of fire resulted in the killing of 14 India-sponsored foreign militants.
Simultaneously, in the Bannu district, security forces conducted another intelligence-driven operation that led to the death of 17 more terrorists.
Following the successful operations, sanitization efforts are ongoing in both areas to ensure the elimination of any remaining terrorist networks and threats.
The ISPR reiterated the armed forces’ unwavering commitment to rooting out terrorism from the country, particularly Indian-sponsored militant activities, and emphasized that such sacrifices only strengthen their resolve.
