As Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day approaches, the youth of Balochistan have stepped forward with powerful messages of patriotism, unity, and hope for the country’s future. Speaking during early celebrations, students shared their dreams, their sense of duty, and their deep respect for the sacrifices made in the creation of Pakistan.
Muhammad Moeez, a young student, stressed that the youth must play their role in Pakistan’s development. “Our next generation should know that our elders sacrificed themselves and their lives for the creation of Pakistan,” he said.
Similarly, Muhammad Ahmer expressed concern that the sacrifices of the country’s founding generation are not being valued enough. “We should play our part and let the world know what Pakistan is capable of,” he said, urging his peers to become ambassadors of the nation’s true potential.

For Muhammad Saad, Independence Day celebrations are tied to action. “We celebrate 14th August by planting trees,” he said, adding that as a computer science student, he aims to contribute to Pakistan’s technological progress and dreams of seeing the country become a global technology hub.
One student gave a particularly passionate message: “This 14th August will be celebrated in a way that will be remembered — especially by India — after Pakistan’s victory against India. Youth should be loyal to Pakistan and work for Pakistan.”
Female students also made their voices heard. Shumaila emphasized that the celebrations should last throughout the month of August and highlighted the urgent need for greater investment in education. Meanwhile, Areeba Shah proudly noted that women in Balochistan are just as active in celebrating 14th August and other events. She vowed to mark this Independence Day in a way that will be remembered.
From pledges of service to reminders of sacrifice, the voices of Balochistan’s youth send a clear message: this Independence Day is not only about celebration, but about renewing a collective commitment to Pakistan’s unity, progress, and prosperity.
