Two separate grenade attacks in Balochistan left five people injured and caused property damage, authorities reported on Wednesday.
The first attack occurred at the residence of Muhammad Younis in the Absar area of Turbat, located in Kech district’s Makran division. Unidentified individuals on motorcycles hurled a grenade into the backyard of the house, causing an explosion that injured five people, including women and children. Those injured were identified as Hajra, Mahlab, Fatima, Naz Gul, and Muhammad Ibrahim. The explosion also caused damage to parts of the house.

Local police quickly arrived on the scene and transported the injured to District Hospital Turbat for medical treatment.
The second incident targeted a police checkpoint at the Sibi-Harnai railway crossing gate. Unknown attackers threw a grenade, which exploded at the police post. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The assailants escaped the scene on motorcycles.
