A grenade attack targeted police personnel near Bakra Mandi on Eastern Bypass, Quetta, leaving three people injured, including SHO Malik Fareed of the Manzoor Shaheed Police Station. The injured have been rushed to the hospital for treatment, according to police reports.
Following the incident, law enforcement agencies swiftly cordoned off the area to ensure public safety and begin investigations. Authorities have stated that the grenade attack is being examined from all possible angles to identify and apprehend those responsible.
Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind strongly condemned the attack, labeling it as a deliberate attempt by the enemies of peace to disrupt the region’s stability. “The sacrifices of the people and security forces in Balochistan will not go in vain,” said Shahid Rind, emphasizing the government’s resolve to maintain peace in the province. He assured that those involved in the attack would be brought to justice.
