Governor of Balochistan, Jafar Khan Mandokhail, has announced plans to build a modern IT Park in Quetta. The goal is to create a center for technological growth and innovation. He shared that the digital age is bringing big changes to how people think and act. However, a lack of resources and other challenges mean careful planning is needed.

During a briefing by Raheel Jamil, CEO of Radis Group, the governor explained that smart and timely planning is important for a stable future. He mentioned that Balochistan has made progress in higher education, with 11 public universities hosting many international PhD scholars and researchers. Using their knowledge can help the province move toward a brighter future.

Governor Mandokhail also said that as the world focuses more on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotics, intellectual capability is becoming more important than physical strength. This rapidly evolving landscape is set to render traditional mindsets and outdated approaches obsolete.

He stated that the biggest challenges are adapting to new technologies and letting go of outdated traditions. But with teamwork, policies that benefit the public, and smart planning, Balochistan can grow and thrive in the digital era.
