The funeral prayers for Syed Aryan Shah, a young man who passed away while undergoing medical treatment in Chennai, India, were held in Quetta on Thursday.
Aryan Shah was later laid to rest in his family’s ancestral graveyard located on Sarki Road. A large number of locals attended the funeral to pay their respects.

Aryan Shah had been battling liver and lung diseases for the past five years and had been receiving treatment at a hospital in Chennai for the last six months. Tragically, he passed away on April 25.
The hospital authorities in Chennai delayed handing over the body until outstanding dues were cleared. The Balochistan government stepped in and ensured that all expenses were paid, arranging for Aryan’s body to be repatriated to Pakistan. After a week, the body arrived in Quetta accompanied by his mother.
