Security forces kill four India-sponsored terrorists in Kalat, Balochistan during intelligence-based operation, says ISPR.
ISPR confirms four India-sponsored terrorists killed during an intelligence-based operation in Kalat, Balochistan.

Pakistan’s security forces killed four terrorists linked to the Indian-backed militant group Fitna al-Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Kalat district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.

IBO Conducted in Kalat District

According to the ISPR, the operation took place on the night of November 1, 2025, after intelligence reports confirmed the presence of terrorists in the area.
“During the operation, own troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and four Indian-sponsored terrorists were sent to hell,” the military’s media wing said.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the slain militants. The ISPR noted that the terrorists were actively involved in several attacks targeting both civilians and security personnel.

Sanitisation and Ongoing Counterterror Drive

After the operation, sanitisation efforts were launched to clear the area of any remaining threats.
The ISPR reaffirmed that the counterterrorism campaign Operation Azm-e-Istehkam—approved by the federal apex committee under the National Action Plan (NAP)—will continue nationwide to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism.

President Zardari Praises Security Forces

President Asif Ali Zardari praised the successful operation and lauded the bravery of the troops.
“The nation stands firmly with its forces in their resolve to root out terrorism under Operation Azm-e-Istehkam,” the president said in a statement.

Earlier Operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Kalat operation follows similar actions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where security forces killed at least three terrorists in separate engagements in North Waziristan and Tank districts.
In North Waziristan’s Esham area, troops detected militants attempting to infiltrate from the Pakistan-Afghanistan border and neutralised them in a precise operation.

Pakistan-Afghanistan Ceasefire Talks

Tensions remain high between Islamabad and Kabul over cross-border terrorism. Pakistan has repeatedly urged the Taliban regime to act against groups targeting its territory.
Despite earlier clashes, both sides extended their ceasefire after talks in Istanbul from October 25 to 30. They also agreed to create a joint monitoring and verification mechanism to maintain peace.
The next round of talks is scheduled for November 6, 2025, in Istanbul, where operational details of the framework will be finalised.
