The 5th All Pakistan Chief Minister Balochistan Football Gold Cup has officially begun with a spectacular opening ceremony. Sports Advisor Meena Majeed officially inaugurated the event at the football ground of Ayub Sports Complex.
On this occasion, Provincial Minister for Education Raheela Durrani, Secretary Sports and Culture Dara Baloch, Director General Sports Yasir Bazai, Deputy Director Asif Farooqi, Kamran Khurshid, and Assistant Director Asif Lango were also present.

Sports Advisor Meena Majeed stated that it is the vision of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, to engage the youth in positive activities and to showcase the positive image of Balochistan to the world through sports.
Secretary Sports and Culture Dara Baloch said that the people of Balochistan have a deep love for sports, especially football. He added that the packed stadium filled with spectators is living proof of that passion.
He further said that the people of Balochistan love sports and hate terrorism — and our hospitality is renowned worldwide.
A total of 67 teams from across the country are participating in this mega event.
Before the main tournament, more than three teams competed in the preliminary qualifying round, with a total of 170 teams playing in qualifying matches.
The tournament will run from July 15 to July 31, with the final match taking place on July 31.
The winning team of the final will receive Rs. 2.5 million, the runner-up will get Rs. 1.5 million, and the third-place team will be awarded Rs. 500,000.
The opening match was played between Baloch Football Club Nushki and Afghan Football Club Chaman, which was witnessed by a large crowd who enthusiastically cheered for the players.
This event is not only a celebration of sports but also a symbol of hope and a brighter future for the youth of Balochistan.
