Balochistan security forces conducting intelligence-based operations against militants and criminal networks
Balochistan security forces eliminate over 100 militants and conduct more than 200 intelligence-based operations to curb crime, smuggling, and terrorist threats.

Security forces gunned down five terrorists linked to the Indian proxy outfit Fitna al Khwarij during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khuzdar district of Balochistan, the military’s media wing said on Tuesday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ hideout during the operation.

“Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists, who were actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area,” the statement added.

A sanitization operation is underway to clear the locality of any remaining militants. The ISPR said Pakistan’s security forces remain determined to eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country.

The development comes days after four terrorists were killed in an IBO in Mastung district on September 12. The ISPR had stated that those militants were also involved in multiple attacks in the area.

ISPR Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry urged Balochistan residents to expose terrorists and their facilitators. He cautioned that anyone found sheltering militants or storing explosives at home would face strict consequences.

The Khuzdar operation also follows two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on September 13 and 14, where 31 terrorists belonging to Fitna al Khwarij were killed.
