
A recent report has highlighted a surge in violent attacks carried out by the militant group known as Fitna-e-Hindustan in Balochistan, resulting in the deaths of over 60 people and leaving hundreds injured so far this year.
According to the report:
On February 14, a bomb attack on a vehicle in Harnai killed 11 laborers.
On March 11, Indian proxies targeted the Jaffer Express, leading to the deaths of 31 passengers.
On May 21, a suicide attack on a school bus in Khuzdar killed 10 people, including 8 students.
On May 27, a polio vaccination team was attacked in Nushki, resulting in the death of a police officer on duty.
On July 1, a coordinated attack was carried out on a police station and a bank in Mastung, where one civilian was killed and nine others, including children, were injured.
Most recently, just two days ago, militants from Fitna-al-Hindustan stopped a passenger bus in Loralai, forced passengers off, and executed 9 individuals on the spot.
The report also confirms that 23 militants from Fitna-e-Hindustan have been killed in armed clashes with security forces in various parts of the province this year.
Security officials have warned of ongoing threats from foreign-backed terror outfits operating in Balochistan and have vowed to intensify counterterrorism operations to dismantle their networks and prevent further bloodshed.
