A clearance operation is currently underway in the area to eliminate any remaining militants and ensure the security of local communities.
Series of Successful Operations Across Balochistan
The latest operation comes amid an intensified counterterrorism campaign under Operation Rad-ul-Fitna-3 across Balochistan.
Just a day earlier, security forces eliminated 15 India-backed terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij during multiple intelligence-based operations conducted in Mastung, Bolan, Washuk, Awaran, Sibi, Khuzdar, Harnai and Nushki districts.
On Friday, security forces killed three Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists and detained 12 suspects during search and sanitisation operations in the Kambela and Asimabad areas of Mastung district.
Earlier, during the night of July 30-31, security forces raided a terrorist hideout in Nushki district, killing seven terrorists, including a suicide bomber, while destroying ammunition stockpiles and improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
On July 30, security forces also thwarted a major terror plot in Khuzdar district by intercepting and destroying two vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices (VBIEDs) before they could be deployed. Four terrorists were killed during the operation.
Counterterrorism Efforts Continue
Security officials reiterated that intelligence-based operations and sanitisation efforts will continue across Balochistan to dismantle terrorist networks, prevent future attacks and maintain stability in the province.
The recent operations form part of broader efforts aimed at disrupting militant infrastructure and improving security conditions across Balochistan.
