Govt declares all terrorist groups in Balochistan as 'Fitna al-Hindustan'

The Government of Pakistan has officially labeled all terrorist organizations operating in Balochistan as “Fitna al-Hindustan.” This designation was announced through a notification issued by the Ministry of Interior.

According to the notification, this decision highlights the involvement of certain groups in terrorist activities in Balochistan at the behest of India (Hindustan). These activities pose a serious threat to Pakistan’s Islamic faith, national sovereignty, and cultural traditions.

Just hours prior to the announcement, explosion heard in Quetta as two individuals, including tribal leader Abdul Salam Bazai, were killed, and seven others injured in a targeted blast in Killi Mangla. Police reported that the attack specifically targeted Bazai, and the injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The previous day, terrorists from the group “Fitna al-Hindustan” orchestrated an attack in the Surab district of Balochistan. Around 20-30 militants stormed the city on motorcycles, targeting soft spots such as a government official’s residence and a local bank. During the attack, martyrs like Additional Deputy Commissioner Hidayatullah Baloch showcased extraordinary bravery, sacrificing their lives to protect citizens.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated the government’s commitment to defeating terrorism during his visit to Quetta, urging unity in the fight against these heinous acts. Pakistan’s leadership has vowed to protect its citizens and uphold the sovereignty of the country through decisive action.
