Speaking to the officers, the army chief stated that India was unsuccessful in meeting its military objectives during Operation Sundoor. He remarked that India’s illogical justifications for the failure reflect a lack of strategic foresight.

Army chief Asim Munir further noted that India avoids acknowledging Pakistan’s decades-long strategy, indigenous capability, and strong institutional foundation. He added that India’s baseless statements are part of a futile attempt to project a self-assumed role in the region as a ‘net security provider,’ especially at a time when neighboring countries are frustrated with India’s aggressive policies and Hindutva ideology.

The Field Marshal concluded by asserting that any attempt to target Pakistan’s population, military bases, economic centers, or ports will be met with a severe, far-reaching, and unimaginably strong response.
