Security forces defuse 100-kg bomb in Kalat Balochistan
Security forces in Balochistan successfully defused a 100-kg bomb in Kalat, preventing a major terrorist attack.

Kech (Dasht) – September 18, 2025:
At least one Frontier Corps (FC) soldier was martyred and more than 35 others injured, including 10 critically, when a Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) struck an FC convoy in Balochistan’s Kech district on Thursday.

According to security sources, the convoy was traveling from Gwadar to Turbat when terrorists targeted it in the Dasht area. Initial reports suggest the attack may have been a suicide bombing, with multiple vehicles of the convoy damaged in the powerful explosion.

Following the attack, security forces swiftly cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to trace the perpetrators. Rescue teams shifted the injured personnel to nearby medical facilities, where several are said to be in critical condition.
