A seminar on the “Role of Baloch Women in Social Development” was held in district Kech under the auspices of FC Balochistan (South). The event aimed to highlight the vital contribution of Baloch women to social progress, education, and regional development.

According to details, IG FC Balochistan (South), members of the provincial assembly, local political leaders, civil administration officials, teachers, doctors, and around 200 women from diverse fields attended the session.

The panel included former Chief Minister Balochistan Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, Provincial Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Mir Majid, former MPA Mahjabeen Sheran, and University of Balochistan Professor Dr. Shahida Habib.

The speakers said that Baloch women have always played a significant role in social development, contributing to education, healthcare, bureaucracy, security, politics, and administration. They emphasized that Baloch women continue to work with dedication and stand alongside men in every field.

During the interactive Q&A session, participants expressed pride in the increasingly active role of Baloch women in the province.

Addressing the event, the IG FC Balochistan highlighted that social development is a gradual process and Baloch women are an integral part of it. He encouraged women to remain strong in the face of challenges, benefit from available opportunities, and continue contributing to national development while upholding cultural and moral values.

At the conclusion, attendees reiterated their commitment to promoting equal opportunities for Baloch women in education, employment, and leadership, ensuring their continued role in the province’s progress and stability.
