Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, Advisor to the Chief Minister for Women Development, has announced that Balochistan will launch its first-ever Women Endowment Fund this week. This initiative will provide interest-free loans to women from remote and underprivileged areas, helping them establish household and community-based businesses and contribute to their families’ economic well-being.
Rubaba Khan made these remarks during a meeting with Ms. Saira Atta, Secretary of the Women Development Department, and representatives from the Institute for Institutional Development. In the meeting, the Secretary updated the Provincial Advisor on departmental affairs and current initiatives.

Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi stated that the provincial government is dedicated to empowering women and ensuring their active participation in the socio-economic mainstream. She described the Women Endowment Fund as a milestone initiative expected to positively impact not only the lives of women but also the province’s overall economy.
She emphasized that including women in policy-making, skill development, and providing access to financial resources are top government priorities. Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi added that sustainable development goals cannot be achieved without empowering women and strengthening their economic role.
