The provincial government is committed to empowering the youth, said Balochistan’s Chief Minister. A significant meeting was held to review the performance of the Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (B-TEVTA). The meeting was attended by the Provincial Advisor for Labor and Manpower, Sardar Ghulam Rasool Umrani; Chief Secretary of Balochistan, Shakeel Qadir Khan; Principal Secretary, Babar Khan; Secretary of Labor, Niaz Nichari; and the Managing Director of B-TEVTA, Tariq Javed Mengal
During the session, there was a detailed discussion on B-TEVTA’s overall performance, ongoing projects, and future strategies for promoting technical education and training in the province.
Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that B-TEVTA is a key institution for developing a skilled workforce in the province, helping to provide new employment opportunities for the youth. The Chief Minister’s Youth Skills Development Program was also discussed in detail. The Chief Minister mentioned that under this program, the youth of the province will be provided with modern technical training so they can achieve economic stability not only at the national level but also in the global market through their skills.
Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti directed that B-TEVTA’s institutional structure be made more effective and that the capacity of training centers for the youth be increased. He affirmed that the provincial government is committed to empowering the youth of Balochistan by utilizing all possible resources.
