Jaffar Express begins special Eid travels for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Jaffar Express, known as the Eid Special Train, departed from Quetta to Peshawar on Tuesday, carrying over 450 passengers, according to Divisional Superintendent of Railways, Imran Hayat.

With a total capacity of 675 passengers, the train left Quetta with plenty of room for new travelers to board at scheduled stops between Lahore and Peshawar.

Launched to accommodate the surge in travel demand for Eidul Azha, the Eid Special train service sold out all seats in advance, providing much-needed convenience for citizens during the festive season.

Railway officials ensured strict security measures were in place at the train’s departure to prioritize the safety of both passengers and staff throughout this busy travel period.
