Earthquake Tremors Felt in Loralai and Nearby Areas of Balochistan
Earthquake tremors were felt in Loralai and its adjoining areas on Thursday. According to the seismic monitoring centre, the earthquake registered a magnitude of 3.4 on the Richter scale, while the epicentre was located 23 kilometres southeast of Loralai.
This is the latest in a series of minor quakes reported in the province over the past few days.
Tremors Also Reported in Sibi District a Day Earlier
On Wednesday, earthquake tremors were also recorded in Sibi and surrounding regions. The earthquake measured 3.1 in magnitude, with a depth of 10 kilometres. The epicentre was identified 60 kilometres northeast of Sibi, according to the seismic monitoring centre.
Kalat District Experienced Quake on Tuesday
On Tuesday, residents of Kalat district also felt light tremors. The earthquake recorded a magnitude of 3.0, with a depth of 12 kilometres, and the epicentre was located near Kalat.
So far, no loss of life or property has been reported in any of the affected areas.
