Pakistani security forces successfully intercepted and neutralized six Indian drones in Punjab’s Okara, Pakpattan, and Vehari districts on Friday. The drones, reportedly of Israeli origin, were downed in coordinated operations monitored round-the-clock by Pakistan’s radar systems.
The operation brought the total number of Indian drones neutralized to 77, according to security officials. The military reported that the drones had violated Pakistani airspace and were engaged following standard operational protocols. Four drones were intercepted in Okara, while one each was downed in Pakpattan and Vehari.

No casualties were reported as the debris from the drones fell in agricultural lands near densely populated villages in the vicinity of Villages 154L and 114L. Swift action by security forces ensured civilian safety, and the wreckage has been secured for analysis.
The ISPR Director General emphasized the vigilance of Pakistan’s defense systems, stating, “Our forces maintain continuous monitoring and respond swiftly to any airspace violations.”
These incidents follow a recent operation in Narowal’s Jassar village, where Pakistani forces neutralized another Indian drone earlier this week. On Thursday, India allegedly carried out multiple drone incursions into Pakistan, resulting in the loss of three civilian lives and injuries to four Pakistani soldiers. However, 25 Indian drones were reportedly destroyed during the offensive.
