Planning Minister, Balochistan CM discuss development projects

Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal and Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti recently convened a key meeting to discuss ongoing development projects in Balochistan, with a focus on the Kachhi Canal project. The meeting, held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, emphasized equitable resource distribution and long-term strategic planning for the province.

During the discussions, Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal reaffirmed the federal government’s commitment to Balochistan, stating, “The federal government stands in full cooperation with Balochistan to ensure sustainable development.” Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti praised the federal government’s proactive role, highlighting that “the ongoing projects represent meaningful steps toward public welfare.”

Both leaders agreed that coordinated efforts between federal and provincial governments are essential for achieving sustainable growth and prosperity in Balochistan. The meeting also included provincial ministers and parliamentary secretaries who contributed to the discussions on the region’s development priorities.
