CTD and intelligence agencies arrest three suspected militants linked to Fitna al-Hindustan network, involved in harboring terrorists and spreading anti-state propaganda.

In a joint intelligence-based operation, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) along with sensitive agencies has arrested three militants affiliated with the group BLA, referred to as Fitna al-Hindustan, officials confirmed.

According to a spokesperson for the CTD, the arrested individuals have been identified as:

  • Syed Nadir Ali Shah

  • Rehman alias Link Road Shah

Authorities revealed that the suspects were actively involved in providing safe havens to militants who had traveled from Balochistan, facilitating their movement and concealment.

Links to Jaffar Express Attack

One of the key suspects, Rehman alias King Jaffar, is reported to be a close associate of Zafar, a BLA militant who was killed in the Jaffar Express attack.

This connection is being seen as a significant development in tracing operational linkages between militant networks.

The CTD spokesperson further stated that the arrested individuals were active operatives of the Fitna al-Hindustan network and were in constant communication with handlers based in Afghanistan.

Investigations indicate that the suspects were using social media platforms to:
