
The deadline for the voluntary return of all registered and unregistered Afghan refugees in Balochistan has expired. According to the Balochistan administration, a crackdown against all Afghan refugees will begin throughout the province starting today. The administration, police, Levies, and FC will participate in the crackdown, ensuring no leniency is shown during operations.

The administration states that 42,000 refugees have been sent back to their homeland Afghanistan from Quetta so far. Comprehensive operations will be conducted against all refugees and no leniency will be shown to anyone.
According to the Ministry of Interior, there are 304,000 POR (Proof of Registration) cardholders in Balochistan, of which 50,000 Afghan refugees are residing in 10 camps. Four camps have been established in Chagai for the registration of Afghan refugees.
