A distribution ceremony for Chinese agricultural equipment and tools marked a significant milestone in cooperation between China and Pakistan.
The event was attended by Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, His Excellency Jiang Zaidong, and Pakistan’s Federal Minister for National Food Security & Research, His Excellency Rana Tanveer Hussain, both of whom delivered key speeches.

Ambassador Jiang highlighted the shared agricultural heritage of both nations and the importance of safeguarding food security to ensure well-being for their people. He criticized the United States’ unilateral tariff impositions, emphasizing their harmful impact on the global trading system and the food security efforts of developing countries.
He reiterated China’s commitment to working alongside Pakistan to counter unilateralism, resist tariff restrictions, and support international fairness and justice.
Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain expressed gratitude for China’s assistance, noting that the agricultural tools provided will significantly enhance Pakistan’s farming practices.
He also praised China’s resilient economic growth and leadership in upholding the global economic order, bringing stability to uncertain global markets. Both nations remain strong supporters of the multilateral trading system and are committed to fostering shared development and prosperity worldwide.
