Authorities in Quetta have announced that mobile phone services will be suspended in parts of the city on August 15 during the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).
According to the Balochistan Home Department, the suspension will affect several areas including Qaidabad, Gawalmandi, and Brewery Road from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. as part of enhanced security measures. A ban on pillion riding is also currently in place.
The decision to suspend mobile services at specific locations was made to ensure law and order and the safety of citizens.
