At least seven people, including women and children, were killed and four others injured in a tragic road accident on the Pak-Iran RCD Highway near Yak Mach in Chaghi district late Monday night, police confirmed.
According to local authorities, the accident occurred when a vehicle met with a serious crash along the remote stretch of the highway. The impact proved fatal for seven passengers on the spot, while four others — including a woman — sustained injuries.
Police and rescue teams rushed to the scene immediately after receiving information about the incident. The bodies and injured victims were shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal procedures and treatment.
