An official notification has been issued confirming the session, where the provincial budget for the fiscal year 2025-26 is expected to be presented. The budget will be unveiled by Balochistan’s Provincial Finance Minister, Mir Shoaib Nosherwani.
The session was called by the Governor of Balochistan on the advice of the Chief Minister. However, there is a possibility of changes to the budget presentation date, with the final decision pending a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Budget.

Sources reveal that the budget for the upcoming fiscal year is likely to exceed 1,055 billion PKR. Of this amount, 830 billion PKR is projected for non-developmental expenditures, while 220 billion PKR will be allocated for developmental projects. The government anticipates a surplus budget for the year.
Aligned with the federal budget, a 10% increase in employee salaries and a 7% pension hike have been proposed. Balochistan is expected to receive over 740 billion PKR in federal revenue, with around 70 billion PKR projected from gas royalties and proceeds from the Saindak Project.
Substantial allocations are planned for key sectors, with 140 billion PKR earmarked for education, 110 billion PKR for law and order, and 60 billion PKR for healthcare. Programs such as the Benazir Scholarship Program, Green Bus Service, and Health Card initiative are slated to continue, ensuring critical support for the people of the province. Funds will also be directed towards improving access to healthcare, education, law enforcement, and drinking water.
