Balochistan’s Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, announced on Tuesday that the upcoming budget for the financial year 2025-26 will focus on collective schemes aimed at prioritizing public welfare.
During a consultative meeting with the parliamentary committee responsible for shaping the budget at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Bugti emphasized the importance of not only ensuring basic facilities through the budget but also dedicating significant attention to development projects that align with the government’s priorities.
The meeting saw participation from parliamentary leaders and members of the coalition parties in the government.
Bugti stated that the resources at hand would be directed towards projects that serve the public interest, paving the way for new development opportunities in the province.
He expressed a strong commitment to ensuring that 100 percent of the proposed project allocations are utilized effectively, meeting the development needs of the people.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the forthcoming budget would be designed with the people in mind.
Attendees at the meeting, including Nawabzada Mir Tariq Khan Magsi, Mir Shoaib Noshirwani, Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa, Mir Sadiq Imrani, Bakht Muhammad Kakar, Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai, Mir Abdul Majeed Badini, and Haji Ali Madad Jatak, collectively agreed to formulate the budget under Bugti’s leadership, offering suggestions to enhance public service.
