Balochistan board intermediate exams kick off on May 2

The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Quetta has announced a revised schedule for the 2025 FA/FSc annual examinations. Initially planned to start on April 22, the exams have been postponed to May 2, 2025, due to unforeseen administrative challenges.

The decision to delay the exams was made following directives from Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti and Provincial Education Minister Raheela Hamid Khan Durrani. BISE Chairman Dr. Anwarullah Kakar explained that this change was implemented to prioritize the well-being of students and parents. “We understand the stress and uncertainty caused by last-minute changes,” stated Dr. Kakar. “By allowing additional preparation time, we aim to ensure every student can approach the exams with confidence.”

Dr. Kakar assured all stakeholders that preparations have been finalized, including seating arrangements, invigilation schedules, transportation, and examination materials. He emphasized that providing a smooth and interruption-free examination process remains a top priority.

Students are encouraged to adjust their study plans according to the revised timelines and can contact the BISE office for support. A dedicated helpline and email service are available to address concerns related to registration, center allocations, and exam-day protocols.

With this rescheduling, the Balochistan Board aims to maintain the integrity of the examinations and reduce stress for over 100,000 intermediate students across the province.
