Rahman Gul, also known as Ustad Mureed, was the deputy commander of the Baloch Liberation Army’s (BLA) Majeed Brigade. He masterminded several high-profile attacks, including the Jaffar Express incident and assaults targeting Chinese nationals. In September 2025, he was killed by unidentified assailants in Afghanistan’s Helmand province, marking a significant blow to the BLA’s operational network.
