Balochistan’s Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti visited the Mir Ghulam Qadir Bugti Hospital in Bekar. During his visit, he toured various departments, wards, and the pharmacy, where the hospital administration briefed him on the facilities available to patients.

The Chief Minister noted that providing facilities across Balochistan is a significant challenge, as the province covers 43% of the country’s land area. He affirmed the government’s commitment to delivering quality medical services to the public at a local level.

Improving primary health centers will reduce the burden on tertiary care hospitals, and access to quality treatment within the province will decrease the costs and difficulties associated with seeking medical care elsewhere.

Sarfraz Bugti also mentioned that modern reforms are being introduced to enhance public health and that public-private partnerships are yielding positive results, praising the commendable support from Indus Hospital.

The government is dedicated to extending healthcare to remote areas, and the involvement of Indus Hospital at Mir Ghulam Qadir Bugti Hospital is a practical demonstration of this vision.
