The provincial government has officially appointed senior Supreme Court lawyer Adnan Basharat as the Advocate General of Balochistan, according to a notification issued on Thursday.
Renowned for his legal acumen and dynamic advocacy, Adnan has been practicing law for several years. He appears before the Supreme Court of Pakistan and various high courts. His appointment comes after Muhammad Asif Reki’s elevation to a judge of the Balochistan High Court.

A native of Quetta, Balochistan, Basharat has earned a strong reputation in constitutional and legal matters. His new role is anticipated to bolster the province’s legal framework and enhance its representation at the highest levels.
