Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has praised Pakistan’s security forces for a successful intelligence-based operation against Fitna al-Hindustan militants in Panjgur, Balochistan, under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3.
According to a statement issued on Thursday, Naqvi commended the security forces after five terrorists were eliminated during the operation in the Killi Soran area of Panjgur. He praised the troops for their professional capabilities, courage and timely response.
Naqvi said the operation had foiled the alleged plans of elements seeking to undermine peace in Balochistan. He described the continued intelligence-based operations against militant networks as important for maintaining security and stability in the province.
Security Operations Continue in Balochistan
The Panjgur operation is part of the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, under which security forces have been conducting intelligence-led operations against terrorist networks in different parts of Balochistan.
The minister said the nation remains united in the fight against terrorism and stands with the security forces. He also highlighted the sacrifices made by security personnel in efforts to eliminate terrorism and restore lasting peace.
The latest operation comes amid continued security activity across Balochistan, where authorities have focused on disrupting terrorist networks, their operational infrastructure and ability to carry out attacks.
Significance of the Panjgur Operation
The operation demonstrates the continuing emphasis on intelligence-based counterterrorism operations rather than relying solely on responses following attacks. Targeting terrorist positions and networks in advance can disrupt planned attacks and reduce their operational space.
Naqvi’s remarks also underline the government’s continued political support for security operations in Balochistan, as authorities seek to prevent militant groups from exploiting the province’s challenging terrain and expanding their networks.
