Pakistan Army, FC Balochistan and Balochistan Police continue Operation Shahban against terrorist hideouts in Balochistan.

Security forces have killed four more Khawarij during the ongoing Operation Shahban in Balochistan, taking the number of terrorists eliminated in the operation to 71, while a total of 109 Khawarij have been killed since July 5 in continued counter terrorism operations across the province.

According to security sources, Operation Shahban is being carried out jointly by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and Balochistan Police to dismantle terrorist networks operating in the province.

The latest operations involved coordinated ground and aerial strikes, targeting terrorist hideouts in the operation area. Security sources said the terrorists were neutralized during intelligence-led engagements.

A significant cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the slain terrorists, including M4 rifles, sub-machine guns (SMGs), rocket launchers, mobile phones, and other military equipment.

Security officials said Operation Shahban will continue until every terrorist operating in the area is eliminated, reaffirming the state’s commitment to restoring peace and security across Balochistan.

Meanwhile, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the achievements of the security forces participating in Operation Shahban, paying tribute to the officers and personnel of the Pakistan Army, FC Balochistan, and Balochistan Police.

He said the joint operations reflect Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to national security and commended the professionalism and bravery of the forces engaged in the counter-terrorism campaign.

“The terrorists have no place on Pakistan’s soil. The nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its security forces and remains determined to eliminate terrorism completely,” the interior minister said, adding that counter-terrorism operations would continue with full force until lasting peace is achieved.
