Scholarship for Baloch Students

The Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF) has revealed its yearly scholarship plan for 2024-25 led by Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti.

The plan will give out 16,800 scholarships to students all over Balochistan helping both school and college students. These scholarships split into paid and paid, want to cut down money problems for students those from poor and left-out communities.

The plan brings in five new programs such as the “Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Scholarship Program.” Every program aims to meet the particular needs of students covering those from minority groups to top performers. It also give chance to learners chasing technical or advanced study degrees.

High-achieving students from government schools and institutions are eligible for merit-based scholarships, which honor their superior academic performance. Furthermore, Minority Scholarships allocate specific funds to help minority students, guaranteeing their access to educational possibilities. Ph.D. Scholarships provide financial assistance to students accepted into the top 100 QS-ranked universities worldwide, enabling them to pursue their academic goals.

Additionally,  DAE and those enrolled in undergraduate and associate degree programs can benefit from Partially Funded Scholarships, which increase access to higher education. Lastly, the Lawyers’ Endowment Fund emphasizes the value of legal education in society by providing special support to students pursuing higher legal education, such as Bar-at-Law and Ph.D. programs in law.

Chief Minister Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti, while announcing the policy, stated: “Education is not just an investment in an individual but in the future of our province. We aim to create opportunities for every child in Balochistan, regardless of their background.”
The government has also pledged transparency and efficiency in disbursing these scholarships to ensure that funds reach deserving students.
