Security forces thwart terror attacks in Dalbandin, Yakmach, and Chagai, killing 12 militants.
Security forces successfully foiled terrorist attacks in the Dalbandin region, killing several militants linked to what officials described as Fitna-ul-Hindustan during coordinated operations across the province.
According to security sources, militants belonging to the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), described by authorities as part of Fitna-ul-Hindustan networks, attempted to set up an illegal checkpoint on the National Highway N-40 on April 22. The objective was to loot civilians and intercept passenger vehicles.
The attackers also tried to target buses carrying employees of a mining company. However, timely intervention by security forces prevented the attack, resulting in the killing of seven militants associated with Fitna-ul-Hindustan. Three security personnel were martyred during the operation.
Intelligence-Based Operation in Yakmach
On April 23, an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was carried out in the Yakmach area. Security forces used drone technology to target militant hideouts, killing five more terrorists identified as part of Fitna-ul-Hindustan.
Attack Thwarted in Shapuk Area
In another incident in Shapuk (Kach region), militants linked to Fitna-ul-Hindustan attempted to launch an attack on security forces. Initial reports indicate that modern surveillance systems and drones were used to neutralize the threat, disrupting their operational network in the area.
Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to continuing operations against such militant networks to ensure peace and safeguard development initiatives in Balochistan.
