Terrorism by Indian proxies in Balochistan unacceptable: Siraj-ul-Haq

A grand Peace Jirga was held in Quetta under the banner of Ittehad-e-Ummat Balochistan, bringing together prominent religious, political, and tribal leaders from across the province. The participants discussed peace, constitutional rights, economic upliftment, and public welfare in Balochistan.

Addressing the gathering, former Jamaat-e-Islami chief Siraj-ul-Haq strongly condemned the involvement of Indian proxies in terrorism within the province, calling it “intolerable and unacceptable.” He stressed that Balochistan must be granted its due constitutional and economic rights to ensure long-term stability.

Professor Saifullah Khalid echoed these concerns, saying the federal government must take effective and urgent measures to counter India’s role in terrorism in Balochistan.
