Digari case victim’s mother granted bail while Satakzai’s request rejected

Authorities have arrested at least 20 suspects, including a tribal leader, in connection with the murders of a man and a woman in Balochistan. A Quetta court has rejected the bail application of tribal leader Sardar Sherbaz Satakzai while granting bail to Gul Bibi, the mother of the slain victim, Bano Bibi.

The bail hearings for both Satakzai and Gul Bibi took place on Monday. After reviewing the evidence and arguments, the court denied Satakzai’s request but approved Gul Bibi’s, ordering her immediate release.
