National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Balochistan Governor Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail held an important meeting on Wednesday to review the province’s political situation, development priorities, and ongoing federal–provincial cooperation.
Federal Minister for Science and Technology Khalid Hussain Magsi and former Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani also attended the meeting.
During the discussion, the participants examined Balochistan’s political and administrative landscape, with a strong focus on development projects and public welfare initiatives. Governor Mandokhail briefed the Speaker on the progress of various ongoing schemes across the province.
The delegation acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of security forces and law enforcement agencies for maintaining peace and improving the overall security environment in Balochistan.
Speaking on the occasion, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq said Balochistan holds a special place in his heart and reiterated that resolving the province’s challenges is a top priority for the present government. He emphasized that Pakistan’s overall progress is deeply connected to the development and stability of Balochistan.
The visiting delegation also praised the Speaker’s role in strengthening coordination between federal and provincial democratic institutions and lauded his effective conduct of National Assembly proceedings.
Both sides agreed to further enhance cooperation between the federation and the province to ensure sustainable development and improved governance.
