Pakistani delegate Saima Saleem hit back, called out Indian envoy of relying on “disinformation, deflection and denial” as she said India is itself involved in acts of terrorism.
The recent attack in Khuzdar was described as part of a broader pattern of aggression from India, including unprovoked cross-border aggression earlier this month that reportedly killed 40 Pakistani civilians. Pakistan called for credible, independent investigations into such incidents, which India has reportedly avoided.
Saima Saleem asserted that for peace and regional stability, India must cease its state-sponsored terrorism, abandon oppressive tactics in Kashmir, and commit to being a responsible neighbor.
