More than 30,000 illegal Afghan nationals have been repatriated from Quetta Division through joint operations conducted by the police, Frontier Corps (FC), and the district administration. This was revealed during a high-level meeting chaired by Commissioner Quetta Division, Shahzeb Khan Kakar, to review the ongoing crackdown against undocumented Afghan residents.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Quetta Captain (R) Meharullah Badini, Assistant Commissioner Political Quetta Division Kaleemullah, representatives from the police, FIA, NADRA, Special Branch, PTA, Home Department, and other relevant agencies. Deputy Commissioners of Qila Abdullah and Pishin, as well as the SP Pishin, joined the meeting online.

Officials briefed that coordination between all agencies had been strengthened to speed up the operation. The commissioner directed that complete data be compiled for all undocumented migrants and individuals on the ACC list to facilitate enforcement measures. He instructed that operations be carried out daily, and that records of illegal residents’ bank accounts and mobile SIMs be collected. He further emphasized involving local elders and community leaders to ensure that the process takes place in a peaceful environment.
The commissioner also directed that special care be taken regarding women and children during the operation, and that all departments work in close consultation to devise an effective strategy ensuring the repatriation of all illegal residents.
