Security forces during anti-terror operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, eliminating 22 Fitna al Khwarij militants.
Security forces killed 22 terrorists in North Waziristan and Dara Adam Khel during intelligence-based operations, recovering weapons and explosives.

22 terrorists were killed in separate operations by security forces across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the military’s media affairs wing said on Monday.

Security forces killed 22 terrorists during two intelligence-based operations in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the military’s media wing, ISPR, announced on Monday.

The operations targeted members of Fitna al Khwarij, described as an Indian proxy group, in North Waziristan and Dara Adam Khel districts.

“In the general area of Shawal, North Waziristan, security forces conducted an operation on the reported presence of terrorists. During the operation, eight Indian-sponsored Khwarij were neutralised,” the ISPR stated.

Another intelligence-based operation (IBO) was carried out in the Dara Adam Khel area, where an exchange of fire led to the killing of 12 Fitna al Khwarij members.

“Our troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, resulting in the elimination of 12 Khwarij,” the ISPR added.

Sanitisation operations are ongoing in the surrounding areas to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining members of Khwarij. The ISPR reaffirmed that the counterterrorism campaign under the vision of Azm-e-Istehkam will continue with full force to eradicate the menace of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.

These latest operations follow recent actions in Balochistan, where security forces killed 18 militants linked to another Indian proxy outfit, Fitna al Hindustan. On October 28–29, 14 terrorists were killed in an operation in the Chiltan Mountains, Quetta District, and four more in Buleda, Kech District.

Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the terrorists’ hideouts, and sanitisation operations continue to ensure no remaining militants threaten the region.
